Firefighters responded to a large blaze at a townhome complex in Arlington on Thursday morning.
What Happened:
The Texas Times has learned that the Arlington Fire Department arrived at the Parkside Townhomes on Millview Drive to find heavy smoke and flames rising from the roof of a two-story building.
Due to the size of the fire and its proximity to other buildings, firefighters quickly called for a third alarm.
By the time aerial footage captured the scene, the fire was largely under control. However, images revealed extensive damage to the structure, which reportedly included six apartment units.
Fortunately, officials confirmed that everyone was able to evacuate safely, and no injuries were reported.
Ongoing Investigation:
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
It remains unclear how many residents have been displaced as a result of the incident.
