Authorities have confirmed that the body of a missing 20-year-old Pasadena man has been found in southeast Houston.
Missing Person Report
Payas Deo, a student at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, was last seen leaving his home at The Reserve at Clear Lake around 8 p.m. on February 8. According to his family, he pulled out of the driveway on Peony Meadow Trail and was not seen or heard from again.
Following his disappearance, Texas EquuSearch and the Pasadena Police Department launched a search effort.
Discovery of the Body
On Saturday, Pasadena police confirmed that Deo’s body was found near Dumas Street in southeast Houston. The Harris County medical examiner positively identified him.
Ongoing Investigation
The Pasadena Police Violent Crimes Unit is working alongside the Houston Police Department to determine Deo’s cause of death. An autopsy is pending.
