All southbound lanes of I-45 at Rayford/Sawdust have reopened following a deadly crash that claimed the lives of three people and left several others injured. The collision, which occurred earlier today, involved a pickup truck and a disabled van, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
According to authorities, the crash resulted in the deaths of two men and one woman. The van, which had seven occupants, including a child, was struck from behind by the pickup truck while it was blocking the left lane. Four people from the van, along with the truck’s driver, were transported to the hospital with injuries.
