Irving police are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that left a man injured on Monday evening.
Details of the Incident
The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. near W. Irving Boulevard and Alden Street, close to the El Salvador restaurant. Authorities say a driver sideswiped a man riding a bicycle and then fled the scene without stopping to provide assistance. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigation and Public Assistance
As of now, police have not made any arrests and have yet to identify the suspect’s vehicle. Witnesses, including the victim and those who stopped to help, were unable to provide a clear description of the car involved.
