The Houston Police Department (HPD) is investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on North Sam Houston Parkway Feeder at Lee Road.
According to HPD, the incident was reported around 3:00 p.m. and involved up to five vehicles. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while several others were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Among those injured, one individual was taken to a pediatric hospital. However, further details regarding the conditions of the victims have not yet been released.
